June Wishlist #01

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

(1) My oh my, has any noticed my love for rose gold recently? It started with my Ted Baker Harpel and it's just, well, escalated. When I came across these I just knew I had to have them, they have my name written all over them. They are stunning, aren't they? (2) I've never been a huge ran of rings, but since getting used to wearing a ring full time on my left hand they feel comfortable and normal now. I am literally in awe of this Tiffany heart ring and will be putting it on a future birthday/Christmas wishlist. (3) Stationary Junkies Anonymous, check. Does anyone else get excited about buying new stationary for the year that you know you'll never use half of. I'm loving Paperchase big time lately and their pens are so gorgeous and practical. (4) I have a Clinique addiction, it's literally written all over my blog. It'd be obscene for me not to want to try their new Lash Power Feathering Mascara, fluttery feather lashes will be mine soon! (5) I'm all over this top heavy layering in dresses and playsuits recently, being larger on my bottom half and skinny on my top leaves me looking out of proportion and these just flatter my figure in every way. Top trumps Miss Selfridge, I'm loving the floral trend this SS14! (6) Ted Baker just tick all the boxes for me when it comes to handbags; stylish, roomy and sophisticated. I'm desperate for this monochrome beauty that has been screaming out for me to buy it every time I see it. One day my precious, I promise.

What's In My Bag: Ted Baker HARPEL

I've be dying to show you this bag since I day I got it, but I thought I'd wear it in a bit first so you're all aware of how well loved and in love I am with it. I spontaneous decided I needed a new bag, something more lovely, beautiful and expensive than I have ever been willing to splurge on before. I originally wanted a Michael Kors bag but seeing as they were becoming the 'norm', I decided to go in a different direction. Whilst picking up a present for my fiancé, I found myself in the women's section in Ted Baker. I then spotted this absolute beauty and had to have it there and then (matching purse also obviously).

Absolutely stunning isn't it? Well it is to me anyway. The tan leather and rose gold hardware is to die for and compeltely unique to anything else I've seen on the high street recently. The streamlined bag is super classy and elgeant, it's the perfect mix of contemporary and classic. I can see myself using this bag for years as it's such a timeless piece. As well as being beautiful it's also super practical. it features adjustable hand straps allowing it to be carried in your hand, on your arm or shoulder. What I love the most is no matter how full or empty the bag is, it remains the same shape and doesn't sag or bulge.

I'm not ignorant to the fact this bag cost a bomb, it's not on a Mulberry level but for a student with no job, it's damn pricey. This in mind, I'm careful to how I handle it and what I put in it. I don't clutter it at all and it's cleaned out daily to get rid of any crap I don't need. However, what I keep in my bag is pretty general and doesn't change much daily.

Most important thing in my bag is my Ted Baker Janit Purse, I brought it to match the bag as it felt a little more luxurious (and I have terrible OCD). In there I stash my unruly amount of store loyalty cards, bank and ID cards along with cash, obviously. Then I have my trusty Apple iPhone 5 with Cath Kidston Little Birds Phone Case, not quite ready for an upgrade anytime soon unfortunately. Then I have my keys on my Ted Baker Didler Leather Key Chain, on here I have my house key, university flat fob, mailbox key and a keyring from the Eiffel Tower. I keep this Paperchase Zebra A6 Journal and Zanzibar Mechanical Pen to keep any notes and idea I have for the blog and channel. I also have the matching Zanzibar Umbrella as you can never predict the weather here in England! I have a hand sanitizier and my favourite hand cream Clinique Deep Comfort Hand and Cuticile Cream. I have a Umberto Giannini Tail Comb for wind swept hair.

Then I have another little bag inside my bag which is this Ted Baker Floral Make Up Bag. In here I keep my Apple EarPods and my PowerBank Portable Charger for long train journeys. I also have a little pack of Kleenex tissues which are super cute, a hair band (or two) and some grips should I need to put my hair up or pin it away from my face. I have a Travalo Atomzier where I keep whatever perfume I'm currently wearing to top up throughout the day. And lastly, I then have any make-up bits and bobs I may need for the day. These are just a few that are in here permanently; Clinique High Impact Mascara, Clinique Long Last Glosswear and Burt's Bees Beeswax Lipblam.

Hope you enjoyed this little insight into my handbag, this is one of my favourite posts to read from other bloggers.

December Wishlist #01

1, 2, 3, 4, 5

(1) I've had my eye on this little Ted Baker beauty for a while now and I'm waiting to see if it hits the sales at a decent price soon as I'm in love. I know there are similar designs knocking around for a lot cheaper but this one looks so classy and tasteful compared to others I've seen. (2) I recently brought a beautiful pair of going out heels from Miss Selfridge (as I don't trust having my Kurt Geigers' at uni with me) and I was seriously impressed. I actually wanted this pair at first but the store didn't have my size in stock, gutted. (3) Ah my favourite perfume of all time although I've been Vera Wangless the past few months, with Christmas coming up I can always rely on momma bear to replenish the stock so I can have my signature scent back! (4) I recently took a skirt back to Topshop as it didn't quite look right on and I wasn't all that keen anyway (my boyfriend described it as vile) but this one seems a much better version of the other and the colours are beautiful so I may have to pick this one up instead. (5) I haven't brought any new MAC brushes for a while as I tend to opt for Real Techniques. However, I may have to invest in this lovely 187 as I've heard great things about it and you can't beat MAC for fluffy brushes!

September Wishlist #01

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

(1) I've wanted a Ted Baker phone case like forever. However they're exactly cheap for what they are so I've made do with a fairly cheap polka dot one since I had my phone. House of Fraser has currently got a few in the sale and I've got my eye on this little beauty, who doesn't love a cute dog? (2) When my nails look pretty I can't get enough of rings. I don't own any silver ones and this one caught my eye. The simplicity and cute little rhinestones makes this ring a perfect day/night accessory. (3) I only actually own one scarf, but recently I've been making more of an effort to wear it and now I'm quite fond. This pretty little leopard design with lime green accents is perfect and I need it, like now. (4) I'm a massive fan of anything ditsy and cute dresswise, this little number in Topshop is about as 'tea party' as it gets and would be a perfect piece to layer up over autumn. (5) I've never experimented with highlighter before, but since I've gave bronzer a chance I'm considering it. Benefit are famous for their highlights and High Beam is definitely something I'd want to give a whirl. (6) I'm all over MAC shadows since I purchased 'Charcoal Brown' to fill my brows in. They're very pigmented, apply nicely and blend well. Naked Lunch is a perfect neutral for day time wear all over the lid. Teamed with a darker tone in the socket it would look beautiful.
