My brows have become the most important part of my make-up routine over the past few years. My natural brows are very fair and sparse and my teenage years of over plucking has left them looking rather thin and odd shaped. Over the years I've dabbled in pencils, powders and gels to enhance my bad boys. I'm all for big bold well defined brows, it's not everyone's cup of tea and I get that, but having big eyes and rubbish brows isn't a good look on me.
My staple in the eyebrow department will always be Benefit Gimmie Brow (review here) Let me introduce you to my new partner in crime in the brow department. I use both together to achieve my desired brow look.
Soap and Glory Archery™ is a 2 in 1 Brow Tint & Precision Shaping Pencil, it comes in two shades - Brownie Points (for darker brows) and Love Is Blonde (for fairer brows). I have the shade Brownie Points which is quite a neutral toned brown which will suit most brunettes. I do feel it's a little on the darker side for me and wish there was a more middle ground option between the two shades but nevertheless I can still work with this.
The Brow Tint is dispenses the tint to the brows - it's a super fine felt tip pen like tool which makes fillin in your brows super quick and easy, it's pretty mistake proof which is great for eyebrow rookies. And on the other side the Precision Pencil is a quite thick pencil, it's a lighter shade than the brow tint which makes it perfect for setting the brows after you've filled them in as it's a little hard to work with in regards to defining the shade of your brows.
The staying power with this is pretty long lasting, the Brow Tint especially stays around all day and even puts up a fight to budge when removing my make-up at the end of the day. Overall I'm pretty mug with this little gem and I find it super quick yet effective to use on my brows everyday. I'd especially recommend it for people who aren't as confident with brow defining or are starting out with brows.
Have you given Soap & Glory Archery™ a whirl yet?
