Soap & Glory Archery™ Brow Tint & Precision Shaping Pencil

My brows have become the most important part of my make-up routine over the past few years. My natural brows are very fair and sparse and my teenage years of over plucking has left them looking rather thin and odd shaped. Over the years I've dabbled in pencils, powders and gels to enhance my bad boys. I'm all for big bold well defined brows, it's not everyone's cup of tea and I get that, but having big eyes and rubbish brows isn't a good look on me.

My staple in the eyebrow department will always be Benefit Gimmie Brow (review here) Let me introduce you to my new partner in crime in the brow department. I use both together to achieve my desired brow look.

Soap and Glory Archery™ is a 2 in 1 Brow Tint & Precision Shaping Pencil, it comes in two shades - Brownie Points (for darker brows) and Love Is Blonde (for fairer brows). I have the shade Brownie Points which is quite a neutral toned brown which will suit most brunettes. I do feel it's a little on the darker side for me and wish there was a more middle ground option between the two shades but nevertheless I can still work with this.

The Brow Tint is dispenses the tint to the brows - it's a super fine felt tip pen like tool which makes fillin in your brows super quick and easy, it's pretty mistake proof which is great for eyebrow rookies. And on the other side the Precision Pencil is a quite thick pencil, it's a lighter shade than the brow tint which makes it perfect for setting the brows after you've filled them in as it's a little hard to work with in regards to defining the shade of your brows.

The staying power with this is pretty long lasting, the Brow Tint especially stays around all day and even puts up a fight to budge when removing my make-up at the end of the day. Overall I'm pretty mug with this little gem and I find it super quick yet effective to use on my brows everyday. I'd especially recommend it for people who aren't as confident with brow defining or are starting out with brows.

Vera Wang Lovestruck

I need to admit I'm becoming a fragrance junkie lately. So my favourite brand had one of their offerings on sale for half price, who was I to pass up? Vera Wang absolutely kill it in the fragrance department and I've recently made my way through an entire 100ml bottle of Princess in the past 3 months, whoops. Currently retailing around the £35 mark in various online stores (RRP £70) this 100ml bottle of Vera Wang Lovestruck is a steal and let me tell you why.

I've seen this perfume around for a while now and even unsure on what the fragrance itself smells like. The packaging is beautiful. What I love about buying larger size bottles is that they tend to boast more detail on them which makes them look super pretty wherever you house them. The sturdy square glass bottle is home to a muted pink liquid. The topper hosts a number of plastic purple flowers and the biggest chiffon bow I have ever seen on a perfume bottle. If the design itself isn't enough to sell you on this, I bet you're wondering what it actually smells like; that is the main point after all. With top notes of pink guava and mandarin, and base notes of tuberose, lotus blossom and sheer musk; this is definitely a firm fruity-floral scent to add to your collection.

What I love the most about this fragrance its appropriate to wear all year round and because it's not too overpowering, it's suitable for daytime wear or a night out. It isn't the most long lasting perfume and I often find myself having to top up throughout the day but for the discounted price I'm happy to go wild on the old spritzer. Although it was a gamble, I'm glad I made the investment as I've been wearing this everyday since I brought it and everyone's commented on how lovely it smells! I've looked around and it's pretty much half price almost everywhere, I'm not sure how long this will be on offer but I'd snap one up sharpish if I was you.

Are you a fan of Lovestruck or would love to try it?
